
Bureau Chief, Grid Scale Resources - Division of Clean Energy
The Bureau Chief for Grid Scale Resources will lead and manage the nuclear, geothermal, and offshore wind teams within the Division of Clean Energy, reporting to the Director of Grid Scale Resources. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, advising Commissioners on clean energy initiatives, managing emerging technology policy and pilot programs, coordinating on transmission needs, overseeing budget lines, and representing the BPU at local, regional, and national conferences.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a STEM field preferred
5–8 years of experience in clean energy, environment, utility, or sustainability, with a focus on large renewable energy projects
Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills required
