Program Specialist Trainee

The Program Specialist Trainee will support the Division of Clean Energy's oversight and management of clean energy projects, with a focus on offshore wind. Working under close supervision, responsibilities include tracking industry trends and advising on policy planning, facilitating communications between staff and awarded projects, supporting logistics for public events and procurement engagements, participating in inter-agency initiatives, and maintaining project records. After successfully completing a 12-month training period, appointees are eligible for advancement to Program Specialist 1.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, OR 4 years of relevant professional experience (or a combination of both, where 30 semester credits equals one year of experience)
